At Southern Sound Services, we specialize in voice recording for your project including (but not limited to) ADR, voiceover, narration, interviews, audiobooks, podcasts, and commentary. We handle your project using highly experienced engineers who are not satisfied until you are. Our stage can connect to people and studios around the world via Source Connect, Skype, and Phone Patch, even combine all three for multiple parties.

We also offer full sound design, sound editing, and sound mix packages. With our extensive experience in post-production sound along with immense sound effects and music libraries and many years of experience in film sound, we can handle sound post for a 15-second advertisement, a full feature film, and everything in between.

Our engineer Billy Theriot is highly experienced in recording ADR, voiceover as well as sound editorial and mixing.  For 11 years he engineered hundreds of ADR and voiceover sessions at Swelltone Labs in New Orleans.  Among the many sessions, he was the ADR mixer/recordist on every episode of the critically-acclaimed HBO series Treme.  And the ADR mixer/recordist for the Academy Award best picture nominee Beasts of the Southern Wild, where he was nominated for the Best Sound Editing: Dialogue and ADR in a Feature Film for the 2013 MPSE Golden Reel Awards.  Now here at Southern Sound Services, he can use his expertise to accommodate your recording needs.

Billy's sound effects, Foley and dialog editing credits include more than 45 feature films, documentaries, and television series. Among those, he has been a Foley and sound effects editor on all of Academy Award-winning Steven Soderbergh's films from 2005 to 2017 including Behind The Candelabra for HBO which won 11 Emmys including best sound mixing. He also has extensive experience in every aspect of post sound from turnover through the final mix and M&E, including all versions for final delivery.
